Review of the Oscar winning flick "The salesman"

"Forushande" or "The Salesman" is an Iranian drama film directed and written by Asghar Farhadi who previously directed and won oscar for a heart wrenching drama "A separation".


The movie deals with traumatic experiences of a teacher's wife when they shift to a new house in the wake of the change.
Amidst wife's grievances, the teacher leaves no stone unturned to find the perpetrator.

Impeccable performances by Shahab Hosseini and Taraneh Alidoosti leaves one spellbound and Farhadi proves yet again why he is known as the king of Iranian film making.
